When: March 28th – this Saturday – from 3:30 to 6 PM
Why are we honoring Anne Frank now?
We are affirming Governor Tim Walz’s reference to her in his comments on the effect of ICE raids on the children of Minneapolis:
“We have got children in Minnesota hiding in their houses, afraid to go outside. Many of us grew up reading that story of Anne Frank. Somebody’s going to write that children’s story about Minnesota.”
And we are also celebrating the perfect pitch of filmmaker Lisa France, director of the award-winning film Anne B. Real staring Janice Richardson (first shown on screen in 2003).
